In this episode of the Catholic Link podcast, Fr. Rob and Fr. George Elliot discuss the purpose of the Second Coming of Christ and how Advent is a preparation for Christ’s second coming. We do not know when Christ will come again and usher in a new creation, so it is of the utmost importance that we continually prepare and unite ourselves to Christ on a daily basis. We prepare for Christ’s second coming through prayer and frequent reception of the Sacraments, particularly Confession and the Eucharist.

Most particularly when people gossip. The Church combatted Gnosticism in the early part of the millennia. It comes in a variety of forms and is characterized by overly complex language that is only available to a select group of people. Fr. Rob and Fr. George discuss appropriate means of correct and response. If there is a church figure who said something or done something misleading, the appropriate response is to quesion him in a humble and respectful manner in private.
