Born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota, David is the youngest of six in a family of musicians and artists. After pursuing a secular music career, David joined the seminary, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. He then studied at the graduate level for three years at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. Feeling called to minister outside of the Priesthood, David left formation and founded OréMoose Catholic Leatherwork, met his wife Emma, and with her, founded Enemy Love Records, a Catholic record label. They currently live in Brisbane, Australia and spend their time evangelizing through art, writing music, spending time outside, playing games, painting, and collecting colorful bird feathers and seashells.
