“When You Realize The Power Of Your Bible” | A Must Watch Video

by Morals & Values, Social Justice

I almost skipped over this video as I was scrolling through Facebook, but I decided to take just a minute to watch it. I’m so glad I did. This is a powerful reminder of how blessed we are to be able to have a Bible and the freedom to read it whenever we would like.

“I will risk everything to have a Bible.” And, as the video shows, that is exactly what this man did.

Would you do the same?

Risking His Life For A Bible

Questions For Discussion

  1. When was the last time that you read your Bible?
  2. Where do you keep your Bible? Does this show how much you value The Word of God?
  3. Is your Bible as important to you as it is to the man in the video? What can we learn from him?

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12

Don’t Say God Is Silent When Your Bible Is Closed

“The Holy Bible is like a mirror before our mind’s eye. In it we see our inner face. From the Scriptures we can learn our spiritual deformities and beauties. And there too we discover the progress we are making and how far we are from perfection.”

Saint Gregory the Great

Marital Truth Hurts — But Love Rejoices In It
