How Much Do You Know About These Catholic “Power” Couples? (Quiz)

by Family, Mary - The Blessed Mother, Saints

In October of 2016, Pope Francis canonized both Louis and Zelie Martin.  This marks the first time that a married couple was canonized together. In the Catholic Church, we are blessed to have this “power” couple to look to as our example of how a Godly marriage should be. Their example of loving one another, loving their children and most importantly loving God is what we should all strive for in our marriages.

We have over two hundred Saints and Blesseds that were married (though in most cases just one of the spouses has been named a Saint) to learn from.  In a world that gives us Jay Z and Beyonce or Brad and Angelina as “power” couples to admire, we choose instead to strive for the humility of these Catholic holy men and women that lived their lives in service to the Lord and were empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Take our quiz to see how much you know about a few of the most well-known power couples from the Bible and our list of great Saints.
