Jesus In The Womb: Month 8

by Jesus Christ

Your Lord and Savior is Now the Size of a Head of Romaine Lettuce!

The next to the last month is now in full swing – as is Baby Jesus in the womb!  His movements in the womb are much stronger now that he is gaining a half a pound per week.  He will maintain this weight gain until delivery.  The end of the pregnancy is quickly approaching and all that is left for Jesus’ development now is to continue to grow.  At this point, Mary will begin to prepare for the birth of her sweet Baby and knowing Mary, she will likely spend a great deal of time in prayer as she prepares.  Joseph too, is likely spending much time in prayer as he prepares himself for the arduous task of being foster father to the Messiah.

What to expect this month:

  • A growing urge to prepare your heart for the upcoming birth of our Lord.
  • Sleepless nights due to your growing excitement and anticipation.

Things to do this month to prepare for His birth:

  • Like Mary and Joseph, commit to spending extra time in prayer for the time remaining until the birth of our Lord.
  • Consider beginning a 54-day Rosary novena on November 2nd, to be prayed daily until Christmas day for the intention of the end to the sin of abortion.

Like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that
through it you may grow into salvation

1 Peter 2:2
