Jesus In The Womb: Month 2

by Family, Jesus Christ

Your Lord and Savior is Now the Size of a Grape! | Month 2

The Life growing within our Blessed Mother’s womb has been busy this month.  Baby Jesus’ organs are developing quickly. He already has a brain and a beating heart! The Most Holy Face of Jesus continues to grow, as do the eyes that will gaze gently down at you during His suffering upon the cross.  The Body that will endure cruel torture on your behalf now has cute little buds that will soon become arms and legs.  If this pregnancy had occurred in modern times, Mary would have delighted at the sight of her Son’s beating heart on an ultrasound.

What to expect this month:

Being sick to your stomach – nauseated perhaps – at the thought of this sweet Baby growing within Mary growing up to be despised, tortured, and crucified.    A growing faith that may already be showing within you. A faith that will continue to grow and will become increasingly obvious to those around you.

Things to do this month to prepare for His birth:

Choose something from your faith (a saint, a virtue, the gift or fruits of the Holy Spirit, etc.) to study and come to a deeper understanding of this month.

Commit to praying a rosary every day this month for the unborn.

You knit me in my mother’s womb.
