In this video, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr gives some exceptional advice on how to create a blueprint for your life.

“The end of life is not to be happy, nor to achieve pleasure and avoid pain, but to do the will of God, come what may.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

How to Design Your Life’s Blueprint – Martin Luther King

4 Questions To Ask Yourself After Listening To Dr. King’s Advice

  1. Who Will You Choose To Follow Today? Every day you have a choice. You can use the gift of each day of your life to grow closer to God or further from Him. If you’re not choosing to follow God, who or what are you following? Where will that take you?
  2. What Is Your Plan? Having a blueprint for your life is essential.  This means setting goals for yourself, prioritizing your activities and thinking about what you want to accomplish in your life. Do you live for the moment or do you live with eternity in mind?
  3. Where Does Your Worth Come From? “I praise you, because I am wonderfully made;
        wonderful are your works!” – Psalm 139:14
  4. What Is Your Purpose? Spend time thinking about what it is God is calling you to do. What are your gifts and talents? How can you use those to bring God glory?
