A Powerful Testimony On Forgiveness After Abortion

by Family, Pro-Life

It is easy to think of abortion abstractly.

It is talked about in association with laws and legal agendas. It is easy to forget that there are real people, real lives that are in the midst of these “hot topic” debates. Both the lives of unborn babies and the lives of their mothers are at risk.

The destruction of the baby’s life is obvious, but the impact on the mother’s life is often unseen.

I find it helpful to put faces with these struggles, and this video does exactly that.

By the time she was 20 years old, Yvonne had chosen to have an abortion…five times. These were decisions made out of hopelessness and she soon found herself wanting to end her life.

But in the darkness, God reached out.

This video is part of a larger series that dives into the meaning of suffering and God’s presence in the midst of that suffering. Check it out here.
