What Would You Tell A Baby On Their First Day Here?

by Family, Funny, Love and Relationships, Value of Human Life

“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

Throughout our lives, we have made many sacrifices to God. Now it’s a good time to start recognizing how amazing God is to us. It is a moment to start thinking more about the sacrifice that He made for us, the sacrifice of His death on a cross represents, in giving us the grace of going to heaven. He gave His life to make us HAPPY.  However, most of the time we forget His beautiful, selfless gifts.

Kid President’s Letter To a Person On Their First Day Here

As you saw in the video, a kid was talking about how life is. Yes, a kid is teaching us about the real nature of life… but it is amazing how God is always showing us ways to be better Catholics, especially through the examples and witness of children.  The term “small”  refers to all the people who are somehow dependent on the help of others, especially children. “At that time Jesus said, I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.” Matthew 11:25

Therefore, children are in themselves a treasure for humanity and the Church, because they constantly remind us of the necessary condition for entering the kingdom of God: that of not considering ourselves self-sufficient but rather in need of help, love, and forgiveness. And we all need help, love, and forgiveness. Pope Francis

So it is important to be like children. A child who spontaneously trusts in God, in Jesus, in Holy Mary.  Let’s start practicing purity in our heart and seeing God in each other’s faces. Also, let’s start showing others how God is working in our life; I’m sure that he is working in marvelous ways! There are some interesting points that the Kid President makes to this end:

Be merciful to others

“Some of them will be really nice and some, won’t be.”  Yes, just as you have bad days, so does everyone else. “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.” Luke 6:32. So, forgive others their mistakes! These are precisely the times when you need to work to love your brothers and sisters. Sometimes life is not easy but it is an awesome journey in submitting to God’s control.

Be thankful to God

God has created you to love and be loved. It means that you have been called to spread love every single day of your life, as God loved you since before you were born. Moreover, God is giving you the chance of being part of his salvific plan. ”You are awake; you are awesome, live like it!” Yes, the first reason is that You have been chosen by God!
