Many of us undergo moments in our lives that sting. They leave us furious, hurt, shocked by the absurdity and injustice of the situation. And, often, when that occurs it makes it incredibly difficult to forgive.

Such a reaction is many times legitimate in itself, yet can transform into something much more serious and dangerous if left to fester.

Many times it is difficult to speak with someone who has undergone such events. Using logic or anything that might minimize what they are feeling or the experience they have gone through (even in cases where the person exaggerates the event) isn’t usually a good road to take. Forgiving is sometimes more like a leap of faith than a logical step in a healing process.

Sometimes they need someone who has experienced their pain, or something similar. Finding those who have passed through similar trials and managed to overcome them in Faith, can be an enormous help. And, while certainly not possessing the same value as a face to face encounter, videos like this may prove to be helpful. Rosario experienced the pain, the anger, and the freedom of forgiveness. In her pain, and in her anger, she decided to make the leap and can now offer a powerful incentive to help others to do the same.
