A Nation Will Rise! (We Will Be Judged By Our Love for Life)

by Abortion, Controversial Subjects, Pro-Life, Value of Human Life

“This is our first task: caring for our children. It’s our first job. If we don’t get that right, we don’t get anything right. That’s how as a society we will be judged. And by that measure, can we truly say as a nation that we are meeting our obligations? Can we honestly say that we are doing enough to keep our children, all of them, safe from harm?”

Today’s video presents the compelling words that President Obama offered after the occurrence at Newtown, Connecticut, and contrasts them with the horrid reality of abortion which he so strongly promotes.

Blind to their full weight, his words nevertheless strike at the heart of the matter: there can be no indifference when it comes to human life.

A Deeper Look

What truth is being brought to light here? The greatness of a living society can only be judged according to the greatness with which it loves and defends life itself.  All the riches in the world must be considered worthless, trash, if we are poor in humanity, poor in love. This same criteria applies to each and every one of our lives.

The decision to live for life is not one amongst many. It is the decision upon which all other decisions are based and from which they draw their energy and inclination. There is no neutral ground, no watching from the sidelines. We must leave all excuses behind, shake ourselves free from indifference, and fight for life.

The March for Life Rally will take place this year January 25.  For more information please visit the official website.
