Have you ever seen a completely Catholic comic book? Neither have I! That is why I’m so excited to share with you that four of the internet’s most famous Catholic cartoonists have collaborated to create “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book”. You may not know them but name, but I’m positive you’ve seen their work on Facebook and Twitter. Because of the support they received from an amazing Kickstarter that many Catholic-Link readers supported, the book has been published!

The cartoonists are Tom Gould from TomicsJason Bach CartoonsPat Cross Cartoons, and John Smillie who is best known for “The First Rosary” cartoon. They have combined their talents to create a comic book with a Catholic message. In a world where vendors and artists tend to be cut-throat in their competition with one another, it is truly inspiring to see that these men are using their gifts to work together for the glory of God.

My family had an opportunity to review “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book” and we found it to be a hit for all ages. Even though the littlest ones in our house couldn’t quite understand the humor behind most of the comics, they appreciated the pictures. One of my older boys who is a reluctant reader found the content very engaging and couldn’t put the book down.

This book will make for a great addition to your coffee table. It is a natural way to evangelize because people are quick to pick it up and flip through the comics. If you have a comic book lover in your life, I highly recommend “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book”  as a unique gift for them.

The authors of the first ever Catholic comic book are giving away a free sample of a digital copy. Check it out here! All of the comics and cartoons that appear in “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book”  have never been seen before and were created specifically for this book.
