Think before you post

Catholic-link.com –  Here are two videos that are part of a campaign to sensitize people to the consequences of posting their private lives online.

With a few clicks, almost any type of information can be shared with thousands if not millions. Time and time again we marvel at how this capacity grows exponentially. But how many times do we ask: Why am I sharing this? Am I really seeking an authentic communion? Do I really stop and think before making something public? Have I thought about the consequences this could have for me and for those around me? Sharing merely for the sake of sharing, perhaps looking for attention, perhaps out of loneliness, or just because it is something new, has consequences.  

It’s worth taking a minute to examine the criteria we use when posting something online.
