Elvis Presley Sings The Rosary – The King Of Rock Sings To The Queen Of Heaven

by August, Funny, Mary - The Blessed Mother, Music | A Selection Of Our Favorite Catholic And Christian Songs and Artists

Today we share a very simple video, no less meaningful in its contents for all its simplicity (appearances can be deceiving).  A video like this, with its sweet melody, hides a rousing rallying call for those who persist in thinking that faith is already condemned to silence, and that it must stay at home, and be relegated to the private sphere.

If that is the case, then listening to none other than Elvis Presley singing openly to the Virgin Mary, and praying the Rosary, must be encouraging to anyone.  We must be convinced that it’s possible to carry our faith and express it even in the most public of places!

We don’t need to hide the most radical parts – which are also the most beautiful parts – of the message, we don’t need to dilute it with ambiguous or neutral phrases, whether out of fear of those to whom we’re speaking, or because we have a false idea that the results won’t be so impressive or successful.  Elvis shows us the complete opposite: why don’t we take the stage and proclaim our faith with a bit more bravery!

Elvis Sang About The Miracle Of The Rosary

Read the Lyrics to Miracle of the Rosary

Oh Blessed Mother we pray to Thee
Thanks for the miracle of Your Rosary
Only You can hold back
Your Holy Son’s hand
Long enough for the whole world to understand
Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed are thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus
Oh Holy Mary dear Mother of God
Please pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
And give thanks once again
For the miracle of Your Rosary

Eucharistic Miracles And The Real Presence Of Christ

Marital Truth Hurts — But Love Rejoices In It

We live in an age where truth has been softened into preference. “My truth” and “your truth” sound generous, almost enlightened, but beneath the language is a deeper confusion: truth has been reduced to feeling. It has become negotiable, therapeutic, and adjustable....
