1.His Feast day is August 14th.

2. He had a strong devotion to Mother Mary because of a vision he had at the age of 12.

3. He established the Militia Immaculata (Army of the Immaculate One) and founded several monasteries.

4. He was martyred at a Concentration Camp in 1941. He voluntarily took the place of another prisoner who had a family.

5. He is the Patron Saint of drug addicts, prisoners, families, and the pro-life movement.
