Outstanding Initiatives: The Marriage Leadership Challenge

by Uncategorized

You may recall reading about Catholic Katie and her free resource guide for spiritual leaders a few months ago.  Katie is again offering a phenomenal free resource to Catholic Link readers.   She has created a Marriage Leadership Challenge which will be an email-based 4-week  program that will include “hacks” and quick tips to help build stronger marriages and spiritual leaders within families.  Katie was inspired to create this challenge because of the recent Synod on the Family.

Katie Warner is a wife, stay-at-home mother, author, and speaker who also somehow manages to find time time to be a correspondent for the National Catholic Register,  a writer for the Integrated Catholic Life, a presenter for Symbolon and Opening the Word faith formation programs, and works part time for Catholics Come Home. Her new book, Head & Heart,  was recently published by Emmaus Road Publishing. With a background like this, I am sure that her tips will be more than instrumental in creating the type of spiritual leadership that every home needs.

The Marriage Leadership Challenge is perfect for those couples that need a boost in their marriage but don’t seem to have the time or resources to get away for a weekend retreat. Make this program your at home retreat experience. Create a designated  time each week of the Challenge to connect with your spouse and talk over the ideas and tips suggested. Say a simple prayer together, turn off the television and your phones, and let God guide you as you take the time to strengthen your marriage.

To sign up for The Marriage Leadership Challenge, click here to enter your email and find out more information.

The series will begin Sunday, November 1st, so don’t delay signing up! My husband and I are excited to join in this challenge and we look forward to sharing the journey with you. Please come back here and leave comments to let us know how the Challenge is going for you.  We will support one another through prayer and encouragement.
