I’m Alive Because Jesus Is Alive! | Matt Maher’s “Because He Lives”

by Easter, Evangelization, Music | A Selection Of Our Favorite Catholic And Christian Songs and Artists

Imagine thinking that there is nothing impossible in the world because you are walking with the Son of God, in the flesh. Then He dies! Imagine the feeling of endless possibility just drifting away because He died. Can you imagine what it must have been like for the followers of Jesus when they started hearing rumors that He wasn’t dead?

The excitement they must have felt when they heard the words, “He’s alive!” All of the possibilities came rushing back because He was alive and all of the things that felt impossible were once again possible! To say “I’m alive because He lives,” is to step into the same world of possibility. To say “I’m alive because Jesus is alive” is to allow yourself to experience the power of the resurrection working in you, as fresh and as vibrant as the day it first dawned on you that Jesus is no longer dead.
