The Spiritual Journey Of St. Mother Teresa Illustrated!

by Consecrated Life, Illustrated Guides, Saints, St. Mother Teresa, Testimonies

The life of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta was extraordinary: her generosity, her tireless struggle for justice, her love and care for the poorest of the poor, and the simplicity of her words and deeds.

But what is most moving about her life was not only her capacity to see and acknowledge the suffering in this world, but rather her courage to live it out in her own flesh. Her willingness to draw so close to some of the most painful realities such as disease and neglect should inspire us all to do the same

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love.”

St. Teresa Of Calcutta

We invite you to take a tour of the spiritual journey that led St. Teresa of Calcutta to holiness. Let us also pray that we too may have the courage to give witness and be a source of Christ’s healing in a world that so desperately needs it.
