Feast Of St. Martin Of Tours

St. Martin of Tours was a 4th century Roman soldier and later bishop who is now revered as a Catholic saint. He is known for his acts of kindness and generosity, such as when he famously used his sword to cut his cloak in half and give one piece to a beggar in need. He is also remembered for his strong faith in God, and for his work in preaching the gospel to the people of Gaul. St. Martin of Tours is the patron saint of soldiers, tailors, winemakers, and France.
