“The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book” is ready to be published and you can be a part of the project!

by Evangelization

Have you ever seen a completely Catholic comic book? Neither have I! That is why I’m so excited to share with you that four of the internet’s most famous Catholic cartoonists are collaborating to create “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book”. You may not know them but name, but I’m positive you’ve seen their work on Facebook and Twitter.

The cartoonists are Tom Gould from Tomics, Jason Bach Cartoons, Pat Cross Cartoons, and John Smillie who is best known for “The First Rosary” cartoon. They are combining their talents to create a comic book with a Catholic message. In a world where vendors and artists tend to be cut-throat in their competition with one another, it is truly inspiring to see that these men are using their gifts for the glory of God.

So, where do you come in? They need your help, prayers, and support. In just a few days the Kickstarter campaign for the “The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book” will come to a close. They are within reach of their financial goal, but need Catholic-Link readers to show support for the evangelization efforts of this project. In return for just a $5 donation you will get a cell phone background and $25 will get you a digital copy of the book once it is published.

Catholic artists, writers, speakers, and musicians need our support for wonderful initiatives such as this one. It is very difficult to earn a living through these professions and their efforts are crucial to evangelizing our world today. Through their work they bring the Good News of the Gospel to those who need to hear it and provide resources for the faithful to continue to grow. Please, prayerfully consider how you can show your support for those who are bold enough to give their careers to serve the Catholic Church in this way.

The Joys Of A Large Catholic Family

Imagine this: a car full of chatter and laughter as twelve siblings are on their way to Mass. Some are reading the day's reading, some are whispering jokes, and others are quietly reflecting. Mass was central to our lives growing up in a family with 12 children. My...

Eucharistic Miracles And The Real Presence Of Christ

Eucharistic Miracles And The Real Presence Of Christ

Marital Truth Hurts — But Love Rejoices In It

We live in an age where truth has been softened into preference. “My truth” and “your truth” sound generous, almost enlightened, but beneath the language is a deeper confusion: truth has been reduced to feeling. It has become negotiable, therapeutic, and adjustable....
