“Follow”: The Gospel According to Twitter

by Gospels, Jesus Christ, Lent

Ignitermedia.com released another cool video that offers a glimpse at the life and passion of Christ seen through the dynamic lens of a 21st-century social network.

I think the video’s idea is very original and is worth sharing. Sometimes the 2000 year gap between the events of Jesus’ life can lead us to see Jesus and His message as something faded, something of the past. While it is true that the events did happen a long time ago, the reality of Christ and his message overcome that gap. He and His message are alive today.

So much that in the sacrament of the Eucharist we acknowledge that we are truly participating in the event of His loving sacrifice on the Cross. In a time when what is “old” or “out of date” is automatically identified as boring, useless or even bad, offering new ways to understand the essential truths of our faith can be of great help to many.

Is The Catholic Mass Part Of The Bible?

When I ask myself where the Mass is in the Bible, my mind goes to Luke’s Gospel, Chapter 24. On Easter Sunday, three days after Jesus instituted the Eucharist at the Last Supper, and before He appeared to the eleven, Jesus walked beside two disciples on the road to...
