You’re Going To Want To Watch “Fatima: The Musical” Again And Again

by Family, Mary - The Blessed Mother, Movie Reviews and Recommendations

Michael Cygan, recent graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, has been working on Fatima: The Musical for the past four years. In partnership with the Morning Star Family Holy Hour and Daybreak Television Productions, the performance premiered on YouTube on October 12th, 2017.

The script is based on the writing of Lucia, one of the Fatima visionaries, in her book, “In Lucia’s Own Words.” The original music is a beautiful way to commemorate the events that took place at Fatima and honor Our Blessed Mother.

Watching Fatima: The Musical with your family, friends, or apostolate is a great way to learn more about what took place at Fatima one hundred years ago and the important message that Our Lady wished to reveal to us.

Fatima: The Musical

Questions For Discussion:

  1. Share the story of Fatima in your own words.
  2. Why do you think the Blessed Mother chose to appear to three children?
  3. Is the message of Fatima still relevant today?
  4. Do you think people listened to what Mary had to tell them and applied it to their lives?
  5. Why is it important to share the message of Fatima?

“Let us offer ourselves to God, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the act of thanks and willingness; let us offer our sacrifices in union with Christ the Redeemer and, with our souls in prayer of atonement and conciliation, let us repeat: Lord Jesus, it is love of you, in reparation for sins and for the conversion of sinners.” – St. John Paul II
