Fr. Robert Nixon, OSB
Fr. Robert Nixon, OSB, is a monk of the Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity (of the Subiaco Cassinese Congregation of the Order of St. Benedict), and a Roman Catholic priest. As well as his priestly ministry and regular monastic duties, he serves as Director of the New Norcia Institute of Benedictine Studies, and Director of Liturgy for the Abbey. Before entering religious life, Fr. Nixon was a professional musician (a concert pianist and composer) and teacher and lecturer in music. He is an enthusiastic reader and scholar of Medieval Latin literature, in particular the writings and biographies of monastic saints.
