18 Special Moments In Daily Life To Discover God’s Presence

by Faith & Life

Not infrequently I’ve heard it said, “God has forsaken me, God does not hear me,” or “I do not know where God is.”

Our lives are often hurried, immersed in routine and in the thousands of activities demanded by today’s world. Such activity can make us lose the sense of our life and eventually we end up feeling disoriented, alone.

God, our Creator, is present always, even if we cannot feel him. If we pay a little more attention, and we stop to think for a moment, we can realize that indeed, in every step we take, in every situation that we live in, good or bad, God is there.  He is present, desiring that we hear him and rejoicing when we find him.

I think many of us mistakenly believe that we can only find God in extraordinary moments; moments of deep prayer or supernatural miracles. And indeed, God is in those moments, but He is also by our side in every step we take, waiting for us to open the door and listen to his voice, his details, his care, his teachings and even his sense of humor. Here we present 18 situations of everyday life in which God reveals his presence to us.

For my part, I will be with you every day until the end of the world. Matthew 28:20
