WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES 2015 CATHOLIC-LINK COVERAGE
Important:
Send me the pictures and videos every day to my cell phone as soon as you have them: Marigina Bruno +593 993426464
During the Meeting of Families (what we need):
– Photos of the event (2-3 photos daily): Of the crowd, people waiting for the Pope, families, priests, religious, young people (ask their names), the stage, signs, interesting things you see (people in costumes, babies dressed as little Popes, etc.)
At the beginning of the event, take a selfie of the three of you, so we can show the world our CL correspondents ☺. If you can take one while the Pope is behind you or in a screen, that would be great. If not, no worries.
– Short videos (2-3 daily): One of the videos has to be an interview. The other ones can be interviews as well, or a panoramic view of the stage, the Pope arriving in the Popemobile, a shot of him speaking, you riding the bus to get there, people singing, taking the subway (not sure if there is a subway in Philadelphia). Be creative! ☺
The interviews have to be short, as they will posted mainly on Instagram (where videos last 15 seconds max). If they last longer, no problem, we will still post them on Facebook, which supports long videos.
One question per interview is enough. Some examples of questions: Are you excited because the Pope is here? What do you think his visit means for families around the world? Etc.
– Material for a video blog: An example is Kristina’s blog on the Pope’s visit to Ecuador: http://catholic-link.com/2015/07/08/visita-del-papa-francisco-a-guayaquil/
An introduction: The blogger has to say her name, where she is, what is happening around her.
A couple of interviews: These can be a little bit longer than the ones we will post on Instagram. I think it would be a good idea to interview a volunteer and someone who is part of the crowd (a family member, a dad, a mom, as this visit is for and about families. If you can interview some members of the same family, that would be awesome). It is also one question per person.
Here, we would add an extract of one of the Pope’s message, the most significant one as Kristina did on her video (while editing).
A conclusion: The blogger’s personal experience, a summary of the Pope’s message and what his visit means for families all around the world.
These are just guidelines, if you come up with something more creative, give it a shot!
