Fr. Rob – School of Faith
/

In this episode of the Catholic Link podcast, Fr. Rob is joined by Dr. Mike Scherschligt, President and Founder of Holy Family School of Faith who lead people to a relationship with Christ and the Holy Family through the Rosary. In this episode, they discuss the importance of engaging contemplative, mental prayer throughout the day and particularly while one prays the Liturgy of the Hours or the Rosary. It is one thing to simply say the prayers, but it is more engaging in a relationship with Christ if one activates that contemplative side of prayer. In their discussion they reference Saints who are famous for their devotion to mental prayer.

School of Faith

Check out School of Faith! Founded in 2005 by Dr. Mike Scherschligt and Dr. Troy Hinkel, Holy Family School of Faith is a public association of the lay faithful. They witnesses the fruits in their work with parishes, Catholic school faculty, and mentors through the Catholic Spiritual Mentorship Program.

We annually form over 10,000 people by sharing the fullness of the Catholicism. They use live events and series, pilgrimages, audio Rosaries, podcasts, and videos.

Fr. Rob explains this little known theological point of the Church with the utmost charity. Please give it a listen. The previous Fr. Rob episode where he discusses wants to try with the podcast, you can listen to that here. Listen also to his most recent podcast: Lord Show us the Father. In that episode, Fr. Rob discusses the Second Council of Nicaea, which is the seventh ecumenical council in the Church’s history. Fr. Rob discusses what this council says about icons of God the Father. Thank you for listening. God bless.
