4 Things To Love About The Catholic Family Crate

by Evangelization, Family, Mass

I was recently blessed with the opportunity to try out the new subscription box service Catholic Family Crate and I am beyond impressed. I have to confess that I have a secret obsession with these types of subscription boxes. I’ve given all types a try – from groceries to fashion to STEM projects for the kids ,so I have a pretty good grasp on what to expect.

The Catholic Family Crate exceeded my expectations. Here’s why.

4 Things To Love About The Catholic Family Crate

  1. Beauty – Everything about this subscription box is beautiful, including the box. The packaging and the presentation make this box a joy to open and receive. Beauty is so important in attracting the interest of both children and adults. My kids were very excited to see what this package contained.

  2. Incredible Value – Many of the boxes I’ve received in the past look as if someone just grabbed a bunch of sample sized items and threw them in a package. Not the Catholic Family Crate. This box is FULL of resources. The crate I received contained all of the following:  Into the Tomb, Out of the Sea: (a book written by Maura Roan McKeegan), a hand-lettered scripture print by Erica Tighe7 Days of Creation Paper Chains, a Jesus Saint Block, the Catholic Family Crate guide, Noah’s Ark coloring pages, St. Jerome coloring pages, a Scripture tracing activity, Jonah and the big fish craft, a Lectio Divina journal, and a Catholic Books of the Bible song download.  There really was something included in the box for the entire family and my children enjoyed exploring all the materials. The quality of each item was just as impressive as the quantity.

  3. Convenience – Elissa Tiprigan, the founder of Catholic Family Crate, shares this in her story behind what inspired her to create this product, “I’d scour Pinterest and ‘Catholic Mom Blogs’ searching for ideas. In the end, I just felt terrible about myself. Why couldn’t I be the perfect Pinterest mom or like the Catholic moms bloggers with seemingly endless amounts of time, money and creativity?” I couldn’t agree more. The Catholic Family Crate takes away the anxiety and stress of finding faith-based crafts to do with your family and allows for you to spend the time enjoying your children. Everything is right there in the crate, easy to find and easy to implement. Another great feature is that this is a quarterly crate. This gives plenty of time to go through the activities and do a more in-depth study with the materials provided.
  4. Truth – There are so many great Christian books and products for families available, but as a busy mom, it can be difficult to find the time to examine each one in order to make sure it aligns with Catholic teaching.  When I saw the credentials of the twelve-person team that works to create the content for the Catholic Family Crate, I was stunned. Take a minute to read about the spiritual advisor, theological editor, Montessori educators, designers and more that are behind this project.

Honestly, I could come up with a list of more than ten things that  I love about the Catholic Family Crate, but I’m going to stop with four because I want YOU to check it out for yourself.  Click any of the links above to visit the website and learn about the subscription options that are available.
