21 Christmas Songs You Don’t Have Memorized (Yet!)

by Advent and Christmas, Evangelization, Faith & Life

Radio stations around here started playing Christmas songs the week before Thanksgiving.  Since the liturgical season of Christmas for the Church doesn’t even begin until December 24th and won’t conclude The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord in January, I need to get creative when it comes to listening to good Christmas music.

We don’t want you to get sick and tired of the same old Christmas Carols either. Though beautiful, often after we have heard them so many times for so many years the lyrics and meanings become background noise. It’s good to take a moment and enjoy a fresh perspective.  We hope these 21 modern Christmas songs will be new ones for your playlist that will guide you in your prayer time for the remainder of the  Advent and Christmas season.
