Life in a minute, is that it? – A simple animation of one human life summed up in a minute. It’s done by Canaan M. and the audio is done by Phanin S. (see youtube).

Don’t let its simplicity distract from the density of the question at the end. How one responds to the question, “that’s it?” lays down the foundations for life.

Thinking about death puts things into perspective. It’s the most accurate balance for determining the importance of things. The career, the moments of pleasure and delight, the applause, the power… all have their place in our lives. But how important are they? At some point, the door of our lives closes and never opens again. What remains? And as always, that end isn´t so far as we think.

“While I thought that I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die.” – Leonardo da Vinci
